Antioch, CA -- Max Muscle Sports Nutrition Brentwood has built a reputation of undeniable quality service and it’s commitment to community outreach. Through various activities, sponsorships, and nutrition seminars, Max Muscle Brentwood located in Northern California has set itself apart from other nutrition stores by engaging in such. Pierre and Brenda of Max Muscle Brentwood gathered a team of nearly thirty eager people to train for the 2011 San Francisco Bay to Breakers 12k foot race. This historic race celebrated 100 years of the foot race that originated after the 1906 San Francisco earthquake to encourage people to come out into the city to be active after the destructive earthquake, during the great depression. April 18, 1906, a devastating earthquake destined to become one of history's most notorious natural disasters rocked San Francisco. The subsequent fire and destruction were unimaginable, and many feared the City would never fully recover. But San Franciscans, displaying their typical fortitude, immediately began rebuilding the city and orchestrating events to lift civic morale. One of those events, the Cross City Race - better known today as the Bay to Breakers - was first held on January 1, 1912. Since then, Bay to Breakers has prevailed as a testament to San Francisco's uniqueness and audacity. Each year the race is a glorious celebration of the human spirit - a giant wave of athleticism, fun, frivolity, and determination flowing across the City from the Bay to the Pacific ocean. The course is challenging and beautiful, and consistently attracts world class competitors. But, it isn't just a race for the serious runner. As described by the company website. In order to be physically prepared the Max Muscle Brentwood Running Team used only the BEST in supplementation when preparing for the 100th Annual San Francisco Bay to Breakers. Keep in mind that this race is one of the largest foot races in the world with 50,000 + participants and 100,000 + spectators annually. Therefore, the best supplement was chosen, Max Muscle’s scientifically-based formula XTINGUISHER! “Pierre and I enjoy using XTINGUISHER personally and regularly. We know that this high quality product would allow our running team to train harder and longer before muscle fatigue could set in, says Brenda Goudie.” XTINGUISHER’s scientifically- based formula supports muscle production and maintenance of carnosine and aerobic ATP production. Active ingredients such as CarnoSyn® Beta-Alanine is a patented Beta-Alanine where clinical studies have shown, CarnoSyn® Beta-Alanine to increase strength, buffer lactic acid, delay muscle fatigue, and speed recovery time. L-Citrulline-Malate is added to promote aerobic energy production, when training longer than one hour. L-Citrulline-Malate has been designed to remove lactate and ammonia from muscle cells and reduce muscle fatigue. L-Taurine is a non-essential sulfur containing amino acid that is also in XTINGUISHER. L-Taurine is often depleted during extreme physical exertion and has been shown to prolong fatigue. The Max Muscle Brentwood Running Team gathered weekly to train with a full 12k training schedule including progressive mileage and hill courses to build endurance, stamina, most of all teamwork and commradorie. Recommended to be taken when taken daily within a 3-4 week range which allows the active ingredients to be absorbed by the body. For the best results, XTINGUISHER was taken thirty minutes prior to our team training days but it can be taken as a pre-workout formula or on non-training days as well. This spring Max Muscle Brentwood Running Team, a group consisting of nearly thirty people set out to conquer personal goals in the 2011 San Francisco Bay to Breakers 12k foot race. Using XTINGUISHER, the Physio Performance Enhancer this team was able to actively participate in strength, high-intensity and endurance training sessions for a total of nine weeks. Throughout these nine weeks team members also received motivational tips weekly from its Certified Sports Nutritionists such as “Max Muscle Brentwood strives for ALL people to live healthy lifestyles. Isn't that what you want? Be healthy, live longer, staying fit? We are here to help motivate everyone to strive for a healthier YOU... every one of you. As a Team we have build strength, endurance, and team work to conquer this 12k! Go TEAM!” Race day was a Sunday morning with a temperature of 44 degrees in San Francisco, California.
